At Hearthstone Animal Clinic, we know your pet is your baby. And when something’s wrong — or you just need care fast — waiting days for an appointment isn’t always an option. That’s why we offer a Drop-Off Exam Option for both new and existing clients.
When things get busy (and they do), we may not have time to sit down with you in a full-length appointment — but that doesn’t mean we can’t see your pet. If you're willing to trust us with your furry friend for a few hours, we can usually work them in the same day and give them the care they need while juggling a full schedule.
What Is a Drop-Off Appointment?
A drop-off appointment means you’ll bring your dog or cat in during a set window (usually early in the day), and leave them with us for a few hours. Dr. Pelton will work them into the schedule between appointments or during surgery downtime.
Once we’ve examined your pet, we’ll call or text you with findings, recommendations, and costs — no treatment is done without your permission unless it’s a true emergency.
It’s exactly the kind of care we’d want for our own pets if we were in your shoes: thorough, honest, and done as soon as we safely can.
